Sunday Service
Sunday Services are held every Sunday at 11am sharp! Please join us as the Lord uses Pastor William A. Grimes, Jr. to preach and teach, under the anointing of the Holy Spirit, the Word of God. His relevant, applicable, and practical teaching is sure to meet the longing desires of every heart.

Sunday School – Adults
Sunday School for Adults and Children are being headed up by Missionary Juanita Bynum. Adult classes start at 10am every Sunday morning. Currently, the class is using the Union Gospel Press Publication for the Adult Bible Class. Minister Ricky Hardy uses an interactive approach to facilitate an atmosphere where learning about Jesus is fun! Sunday School is a place for the entire family to come and ask and answer questions.

Sunday School – Children
Mrs. Tirzah Grimes is currently teaching the Sunday School Children’s class. Tirzah is being assisted by the teenagers of Solid Rock to ensure that every child has the opportunity to be touched and loved! Various teaching aids are used to include interactive story-telling, memorization, cut outs, and coloring to enhance the lesson taken from the Bible.

Wednesday Bible Study
The Bible Study on Wednesday nights is beginning to get people’s attention! Pastor Grimes is using an interactive approach as the discussions are becoming more lively each week. The attendees of the Wednesday Bible Study also uses a “sit at the dinner table” approach. Studies have shown that most heart-felt communication is done at the “dinner table” so Pastor Grimes instituted the “Family at the Dinner Table” discussion approach which has been received with enthusiasm by all of the attendees.

Choir – Adult
Beautiful voices coming together to glorify God! Please consider joining the Solid Rock Baptist Church Adult Choir. Men and women are welcomed. Come and use or learn to use your voice to lift up praises to our God! Also, a children’s choir is currently being formed! Rehearsals are held on Monday nights at 7pm.

Praise Dancers
Come and allow the Spirit of God to use you in the art form of Praise Dancing. The old and the young are welcomed! Rehearsals are held on Monday nights at 6pm.

Clothing Closet
We are opened monthly to help meet the physical needs of the community. This ministry is under the direction of Mr. and Mrs. Otis Johnson and their son Joesph.

Food Bank
We are still preparing the facility for a fall opening of this ministry. In collaboration with the Social Services of Delaware we help meet the needs of those in our community by providing free food to families in our community. The ministry will be under the direction of Sister Catonya Caulk.

Nursing Home Ministry
The team under the leadership of Missionary Bynum makes monthly visits to the Silver Lake Nursing Center where they share the Word of God, sing hymns and pray with the residents.
